The Indonesian Catholic Community in Archdiocese of Seoul was built in 2001. It was the initiative of some Indonesian students who lived in Seoul & surrounding areas who had regularly meetings. This community was promoted to help spiritual needs of Indonesia Catholic in Korea. At the beginning, all spiritual activities were held in Sodaemun-Gu Bug-Ahyeon dong, (SVD Community). In 2013, as the number of members increased, with the approval and help of the Labor Pastoral director of Archdiocese of Seoul, all activities were transfered to Bomun-dong, the Center of Migrant Pastoral Committee of Archdiocese of Seoul.

Pastoral Activities. The main focus of Pastoral ministry for Indonesian are, Firstly serving the spiritual needs of Catholics living in Korea, especially those living in Seoul. Secondly, helping Indonesians who are in difficulties, such as health problems, work, salary, adaptation, language, multicultural family and cultural difficulties.
